This Privacy Policy applies to the MoneySplit mobile application ("MoneySplit", "the App"), developed by Paolo Moscatelli.
MoneySplit is an application designed to help users manage shared expenses, calculate how much each participant has spent, and determine the amounts owed between participants in a group.
MoneySplit does not require users to create an account or provide an email address, telephone number, password, or other registration information.
When using the App, users may voluntarily provide the following information:
The App does not require users to provide their real name. Users may choose any name or nickname.
The information provided by users is used exclusively to provide the functionality of MoneySplit.

MoneySplit does not use this information for advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking.
MoneySplit uses Firebase Cloud Firestore, a service provided by Google, to store and synchronize group and expense data.
Information entered by users may therefore be transmitted to and stored on Google's infrastructure through Firebase Cloud Firestore. Google processes this data on behalf of the developer in accordance with the applicable Firebase and Google Cloud terms.
MoneySplit uses Firebase solely to provide the cloud storage and synchronization functionality required for online groups. The developer does not use the stored information for advertising or unrelated purposes.
Firebase services use encryption for data in transit, and Cloud Firestore also provides encryption for data at rest.
For information about Google's processing of data through Firebase, users may consult Google's and Firebase's applicable privacy and data-processing documentation.
Data belonging to an online group may be made available to the other participants of that group because this is necessary for the core functionality of MoneySplit.
For example, participants in a group may see the names, expenses, payments, and calculated balances associated with that group.
MoneySplit does not sell users' personal information and does not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
The use of Firebase Cloud Firestore means that data is processed by Google as the service provider used to provide the App's cloud storage and synchronization functionality.
MoneySplit does not intentionally collect precise location data, contacts, photographs, microphone recordings, or other personal information from the user's device.
MoneySplit does not use advertising identifiers or third-party advertising services for behavioral advertising.
Data stored in an online group is retained for as long as it is necessary to provide the group and expense-sharing functionality or until it is deleted through the functionality provided by the App.
Users should not enter unnecessary personal or sensitive information into MoneySplit.
If a user wishes to request deletion of data associated with an online group or has questions regarding the deletion of their data, they may contact the developer using the contact information below.
Deletion requests will be handled within a reasonable period, subject to any applicable legal obligations.
MoneySplit relies on Firebase Cloud Firestore to store and transmit data between participating devices.
Data transmitted to Firebase is protected using encrypted connections, and Cloud Firestore supports encryption of stored data.
The developer does not intentionally collect or maintain copies of the data on separate personal servers.
MoneySplit does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Users should not enter unnecessary personal information belonging to themselves or other individuals when using the App.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes to MoneySplit, its data processing practices, or applicable legal requirements.
